Catawba College Yearbooks Now Online

Student yearbooks from Catawba College, in Salisbury, N.C., are now available in the North Carolina College and University Yearbooks collection.

There are 81 yearbooks online, ranging in date from 1927 to 2010. The early volumes are named “The Swastika,” which looks alarming to us now, but was attributed to a Native American design found in one of the campus buildings. The name was finally changed in 1941 to “The Sayakini.”

The original yearbooks are in the Corriher-Linn-Black Library at Catawba College.
