Troubleshooting Video Playback
Video files on DigitalNC are hosted through the Internet Archive (archive.org). Errors like the one pictured below sometimes occur when trying to view the videos on our site.
Here are a few workarounds to try:
- View the video at archive.org.
Click on the Internet Archive logo in the bottom right of the viewing area (
). The video will open on Archive.org and may load correctly there. - Keep clicking the ‘play’ button.
This error occurs when the player can’t load the file from archive.org. Keep clicking the button in the center, where the error is displayed; you may get a better connection that allows the video to play. - Try another browser.
This error appears most often on Chrome and Safari.
